    Pasha's Blog in PetFoodsMarket

For those of you that don't know me, let me introduce myself.

Pasha's the name, Cats my game!
I pretty much RULE here at Pet Foods Market in Manhattan Beach.

Many of you wonder just what kind of cat I am and how much I weigh. So thought I'd give it to you straight.  My breed is that of a Turkish Van Angora and I weight 22 pounds.  Impressive I know.  You see, way back in the 16th century my Turkish relatives landed in Britain.  The Brits soon found out that we Turkish Vans are known for being intelligent, adorable and we're sometimes called the "swimming cat" cause we love to swim.  Watch out Michael Phelps!

Turkish Vans are also known for their size. I may be the biggest cat you've ever seen but it's not because all I do is eat.  It's true I do dine on the best feline food money can buy.  However,my diet is closely  watched. Yes watched mostly by my owners but also by my visiting canine friends who like to snatch a bite when I'm not looking.  So, I may be 22 pounds but that's pretty typical for my breed.   Just got a haircut, so perhaps I'm a bit lighter.

What allot of you don't know is I can TYPE!  When the lights go down and my people friends leave for the night the Pashameister hits the web.  I'm on the computer updating our blog. I promise to keep you updated twice a month so whatever is coming up or going down at PFM, you'll be connected.

Now, do me a favor. Summer is way over, fall is right around the corner. It's almost Halloween so get in here you HOT DOGS and pick out your pets costumes.   Livia and Barbara just returned from Super Zoo in Las Vegas. The Super Zoo is a huge pet supply convention where they find the latest and greatest in pet products. You know what that means....

    More stuff!

Hey, also watch for some candid photos of your pets on our web site… not only can I type, I can also aim a camera.
    Till next time.
    Yours truly,
    Pasha

    2/17-2/23

Hello, it’s Pasha again. This week started out a little slow.

On President’s Day the store was pretty empty, apparently humans take these holiday weekends to go out of town and leave us pets behind. But that’s ok when you return you love to spoil us with treats and toys.

Tuesday Livia came down with a cold so I made sure I stayed a good five feet away from her. Barbara came back from her holiday trip and gave Chloe, her Boston terrier, tons of kisses. Chloe is a rescue dog, she is about seven years old, and she is always here when Barbara is here. Chloe and I don’t go bothering each other, which is just the way I like it.

The store had a lot of people including dog training class with David Dickey, a really good trainer. So I had a lot of dogs bothering me, but that was ok because trainer David soon helped teach the dogs to behave.

Wednesday was a good day, the store’s weekly deliveries came in as usual and I was kicked out of my chair, man can a guy get some sleep. But I didn’t worry soon enough my chair was free and I got some z’s.

Hungarian PuliNow Thursday was interesting, Gizi, Livia’s Hungarian Puli, came in the store and with Chloe being there too it seemed a little crowded. I think that is one too many dogs, but like Chloe, Gizi doesn’t bother me. Actually she seemed to be a little scared of me and was behind the counter must of the day.

Friday was fun Delilah was here, she is a Chihuahua/pug mix also a rescue, and she pretends to be security with this security shirt she wears. She likes to inspect everyone but not me - she knows I live here and I am the boss when it comes to animals.

And finally Saturday was slow only because it rained, so I was stuck inside with nothing to do but sleep…… oh wait, that’s what I do must of the day! Anyway, it was fun chatting about my week, and now I need to get back to my daily napping. So I will let you all know how next week will go, talk to later bye.
